Michael & Sara
our story
Manifest Glory was birthed by a word from God and a desire to see the glory of Jesus manifested on the earth like never before. Our dream is for people to encounter and experience God in a tangible and supernatural way.
Before this dream was given to me (Michael), I met my wife, Sara, in 2017 on a three-month mission trip to Honduras. At the time, I was a young worship leader and evangelist serving at a church in a very poor village called El Banano. Sara, who was from this same village, was also serving in this local church. We met there, and a year later we were happily married. I moved to Honduras as a full-time missionary under A Cup of Cold Water Ministries. Though I was excited for this new endeavor, I had no idea that the next four years would be some of the hardest years of our entire lives.
It was by the grace of God that He sustained us through many trials and sufferings. Despite the difficulties we faced, we experienced the supernatural ministry of Jesus in extraordinary ways. During those years, we saw many salvations, healings, and deliverances. God even supernaturally spared our son, Ezra, from death in the womb during complications with Sara’s pregnancy. Jesus always intervened when we needed Him and showed us glimpses of His glory. He was at work in our lives, teaching and preparing us to walk in the supernatural.
Two weeks after our son’s birth in 2020, the Holy Spirit led us to the mountains of Cofradía in Honduras. We had just lost our apartment in La Lima after Hurricane Eta flooded the entire area. We thought we would return after a short while, but God had plans for us to stay in Cofradía. The spiritual warfare over our lives continued to increase, to the point that at times I thought I wouldn’t survive. There was intense witchcraft coming against us. Eventually, God made it clear that the spiritual warfare we were experiencing was because He had sent us to minister to the people in that region.
The devil tried everything he could to stop us, but no matter what he tried, God continued to open doors for ministry and to bring people to Jesus. He gave us grace to overcome every trial and suffering. We helped plant a church in Cofradía with my brother-in-law Daniel and his wife Noelia, and we ministered wherever God sent us. We ministered in churches, homes, restaurants, barbershops, and on the streets. God continually asked us to step out in faith and share the gospel wherever we were, and we obeyed.
In 2022, God moved us back to my hometown of Houston, Texas. Right before this transition, I began to feel a strong call to focus on street ministry and evangelism. I obeyed God by ministering on the streets of Honduras, and I continued this ministry after moving back to the United States. We also continue to travel with A Cup of Cold Water Ministries on short-term mission trips, preaching at gospel crusades in various parts of Honduras and ministering to communities and churches in El Salvador and Mexico.
At the beginning of 2025, God gave us a new vision. This vision was to branch out from A Cup of Cold Water Ministries and start a new ministry called Manifest Glory, to plant a multicultural, Spanish- and English-speaking church in Houston, Texas, and to continue supporting our missions work in Cofradía, Honduras.
